Description
As Mardi Gras nears in New Orleans, the people start decorating their houses as much as people decorate their houses at Christmas. There are a gazillion strands of beads draped over fences, railings, lampposts, anywhere they can be draped. There are flags, masks, drapes, wreaths. Purple, gold, green - those are the colors you see throughout the town. The holiday of Mardi Gras is celebrated in Southern Louisiana but originated in Mobile, Alabama. Celebrations are concentrated for about two weeks before and through Shrove Tuesday, the day before Ash Wednesday.

Sweet person you don`t miss an opportunity to capture the beauty around you. "Mardi Gras Time" proves my point. It is stunning, absolutely beautiful. Your gold medal will be presented on the outdoor pavilion, weather permitting, see you there. l.v.f.
