Description
I captured this image during the Vivid Sydney Festival 2014, taken from Circular Quay ferry terminal in Sydney city looking out over the colorful reflections on the harbor to the Sydney Passenger Terminal and the Sydney Harbour Bridge.
The Sydney Harbour Bridge is a steel through arch bridge across Sydney Harbour that carries rail, vehicular, bicycle and pedestrian traffic between the Sydney central business district (CBD) and the North Shore. The dramatic view of the bridge, the harbour, and the nearby Sydney Opera House is an iconic image of Sydney, New South Wales, and Australia. The bridge is nicknamed "The Coathanger" because of its arch-based design.
Under the directions of Dr J.J.C. Bradfield of the NSW Department of Public Works, the bridge was designed and built by British firm Dorman Long and Co Ltd of Middlesbrough and opened in 1932. The bridge's design was influenced by the Hell Gate Bridge in New York. It was the world's widest long-span bridge until construction of the new Port Mann Bridge in Vancouver. It is also the fifth longest spanning-arch bridge in the world, and it is the tallest steel arch bridge, measuring 134 metres (440 ft) from top to water level. Until 1967 the Harbour Bridge was Sydney's tallest structure.

Thanks again for viewing my work and taking the time to comment, Lexa :) Your photography is awesome and I again left a few L/F's to thank you.

Oh so beautifully captured Kaye - growing up in Sydney, this sight is iconic. Stunning light and pov!

Thank you all very much for your kind comments. As I age, I seem to have less time in my life and never seem to find time to comment back as it started to become rather time consuming. I always see all the comments I receive and often go to that person's gallery and add a few votes/likes, although they will not know I have done this. Charles, in answer to your question, No, there are not so many lights normally so most of the lighting came from the Vivid Sydney extra lighting, although this was not a great vantage point to see some of the special features. I just like the glow on the water.... and the Harbour Bridge, for some reason, is always lit from the other side. Thank you everyone :)

WOW. Really awesome, Kaye. Are there always so many lights or was it lit up so brilliantly just for the Vivid Sydney Festival?
